    Normal boy beahaviour?

Hi. Im a mum to a 13month old boy. Its all very new to me and im not sure if my little boys behaviour is standard for his age. He is constantly running around and climbing things. he gets obsessed with certain things, like he desperately wants to get to the computer and when I try and divert his attention he drops to the floor and cries and keeps trying to get at it. Sometimes in the playground he becomes obsessed with prams. He wants to push them around and wont take no for an answer. Its a little like ocd...lol
On a positive note he is a very smiley little boy with a very big personality. I just cant seem to keep him still....sigh

is it just a boy thing?

He sounds totally normal to me! He seems like my DS!
My DS has a really big personality too, I just try to stimulate him with lots or rough and tumble play and toys that require thought. Good luck! x

thanks Amber. I will go buy some energy drinks tomorrow and join him in his hyperactivity. Hopefully tire him out

Yes, sounds completely normal, whatever the gender. DD is exactly the same. COMPLETELY obsessed with climbing on things - chairs, benches - at the moment.

Sounds like a toddler to me. Completely obsessive, tantrums if they can't get what they want... toddler.

Yep - sounds pretty typical behaviour for toddlers. Mine's obsessed with climbing the couch and walking on the coffee table (and sometimes off it - erk). I just wish somebody had told mine that he's not supposed to be a toddler quite yet *sigh*.
