Question Red spots on face and body?

    Hey there,

I just noticed that DD has what appears to be a rash - like little red bumps that you can feel when you run your fingers over them. It is on her face, body, arms, uh girlie bits - but not her legs. she even has a few on her ears and eyelids!!

Not sure if its something I should be concerned about? I haven't done anything differently than any other day, nor has she been in contact with anything out of the ordinary.

She doesn't have a temp, they don't appear to be bothering her, she's drinking fine, good output

    Any ideas?

Mel our DD had the same thing last week, I came to the conclusion it was heat rash.... try dressing her a little more lightly and see if it goes away

My DD has it on her chest head and ears.... Its like tiny red bumps... It can be caused my heat, or moisture... My DD dribbles alot and is a aweaty baby. best thing i have been told to do is nothing... The more cream and powder you put on the worse it can get,...

Also i have been told if it is chicken pox and other type rashes if you bath bubs it seems to appear else where. Heat rash wont

Hmm.. didn't look like heat rash - quite familiar with that myself (being a tasmanian living in queensland!!)

It did appear on more places once I got her in the bath actually... now you have me worried!!

Did the rash get worse after you washed her? What did you use in the bath?
Do you have any trees around your place that have started flowering? It could be an allergy to pollens or something.

hmmm.. i took her outside briefly (and I mean briefly - like two seconds) today to get the mail, but most of the plants are dead.. LOL

It was more noticeable when she was in the bath - had the same stuff in there that I always have - the lavender stuff from J & J.. and a bit of almond oil too - but i've done it heaps of times and not had a reaction..
