Weight gain at five months?

Hi

Just wondering what sort of monthly weight gain should be expected at five months. I am taking my LO to be weighed tomorrow and am wondering what sort of gain I should expect in the month since I have last had him weighed. Reason for asking is one of the mothers in my mothers group has just had her LO weighed and he had only put on 300g in the month. Is this within normal range or what should I expect?

Any kind of gain is considered okay. They will start to slow right down in growth eventually. DD1 only gained 340gm in that month.
