    Question Crawling to walking

    Hi everyone!

DD is 13 months old and has just started walking around holding on to furniture, very little steps and not very far. She's been standing since March, while holding on to things, and has just started crawling "properly" in the past month or so. She has hip dysplacia and came out of her brace in February, so she's a bit behind anyway, but I was wondering how long it took for your LO to walk once they're at this stage.

I have to work for six days at the end of June and I'm absolutely petrified she'll take her first steps then. She was in a brace and plaster for 10 months all up, and I want to be there to see her take those special steps. It'll be the icing on the cake after a difficult time.

    Corelly x

well....my DS has been stnading and cruising for around 8 months now....still no walking! I keep thinking every week, yep, this is it, hes gonna do it, but..no.
he is now over 18months and I dont think he is very interested! He will walk with things, the stroller, the fridge door, the chairs etc, but not un aided.
I am being hounded by all and sundry to get him checked out as he is so "slow" with the walking thing, but my brother didnt walk till 16 months old and my DP didnt walk till 18months old, I figure he is going to do it, soon. (I hope!)

Anelise started crawling at 5 months, and started cruising around the furniture at 6 months. She is now 8 months old and still not sure of letting go, so I can't see walking happening anytime soon (thankfully!!!)
