    Free budget program

    Hi Girls
There have been a couple of posts from people wanting a budget program, so I have made one. If anyone would like a free copy go to my website. On the first page you will see a pic of a computer at the bottom left. Click on this and you can download an excel budget program.
If you want to make some comments or suggestions for improvements please post them here, I would love to read them.

hey alan i looked it appears very confusing to me..
is it meant to be where you record where your money has GONE compared to a budget of where your money goes? iykwim?
cos i dont understand projected costs/ actual costs?

Projected cost is what you think you are going to spend. Actual cost is what you did spend. Many things on this list will be the same under projected cost and actual cost for example car repayments. Whereas others will differ such as groceries.
You could also use it to compare last week/month to this week/month by putting last week/month in one section and this weeks in the other.

Hi. I downloaded the budget program, but It didn't seem to be working for me - It just came up in script, nothing actually readable. I am not sure why???? It sounds just like what I am looking for at the moment.

I found it was a program compatability issue with my computer that made it come up in gobblygook. When I used my DH's computer (with different versions of excel) it came up no problems.
