Independent life insurance broker - recommendation wanted

Can anyone recommend a good independent life insurance broker? We don't have it through super and we've been messed around by 2 separate brokers who have both wasted our time and not followed through. We can get it through the bank but we want to be able to look at different options and don't want it tied to our mortgage.

We want someone who knows what they're doing, gets to the point and most importantly, gets it done quickly. We're getting desperate.
