We had been insuring my ring on it's own for about 5 years until we realised that as we had the top cover, it included up to 10k for jewellery. (All that wasted money ) So we hadn't needed the separate cover as the amount covered the replacement value of my ring.

I think I just repeated myself I'm tired.
