    Pre-rally BellyBelly Breakfast Meet-up

To my gorgeous birth/women's rights/human rights activists:

We talked about meeting at some point over the rally, I think it would be great if we can meet before, break the ice a little, get pumped up and have some fun, because we'll probably all be exhausted afterwards and kids grumpy!!!

I propose meeting up for breakfast (for those who will be there first thing) and until we all leave for Parliament House so more of us can join in.

If you're up for it, please reply to this thread and we'll work out numbers and I will book a place for us to meet.

    Who's coming to breakfast/morning tea?

Kelly, Chris, Marisa, Elijah - 4

    Total - 4

Not sure who I'll be sharing a hotel room with, if at all, so it will depend if the person I'm kipping with will be meeting ABA chicks, Homebirth in the Hills chicks or want to come with me to meet BB chicks (I'll be in two minds about HBITH and BB, myself!). Definitely interested, though!

Just a thought for breakfast ladies. I won't be able to make the rally as I'm now in WA - used to work at the Senate (ha-ha) but don't hold that against me! The Hyatt Hotel on Commonwealth Avenue is just down the road (literally) from Parliament House. This is where the MPs and Senators used to stay - not sure if they still do, this could work for you though. Anyway, from all accounts they do a bang up buffet breaky in the Promenade Cafe. As it's a hotel and can accommodate more people and it's close to where you want to go and you could walk to the House I thought it might be worth mentioning.

It's just so out of my way, Kaz...all the way down the elevator!
Hey, did you hear from Jason's diary manager? He's got time at 11am to meet with constituents and I've suggested the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, because they're having their welcome to the nation ceremony there before the rally starts and they're involved with the birth choices protest (their own birth choices were removed from communities already - they already know how we're going to feel come next July!).
Anyway, I'm up for brekky at Rydges (dammit, I'm looking forward to jamming buffet brekky into my belly!)...right after my 'float' in the pool

I'm all for Rydges cause it's where I'm staying too .... mmm, glorious 2 days without DH / DS!
