I haven't been on BB for a while, just wanted to share our exciting news!!!!!!

On 10th May (he was due 2nd may) we welcomed our 3rd addition to our family, a beautiful healthy baby boy! Rylan Jaguar was born at 1:37pm after an 11 hour natural labour and birth! His two big sisters adore him as we all do!!! We are all so thrilled. I've been so busy enjoying him so only now have I had some time to get on the computer to let BB know! We didn't know the gender so it was a great surprise to see we had made a boy!!!!

I plan on posting up my birth story in the next 2 weeks!! I had a great labour, was in a great mindset, coped very well, no drugs or gas (for any of my labour's) but at the pushing stage we realised it was to be another Shoulder Dystocia birth. My 2nd girl was 4.7kg (10lb 6oz!) and she got stuck at the shoulders too after the head came out so our little guy did too as he was born pretty big too, 4.3kg! But no complications either, all was fine, I just make big babies! Had a fantastic OB this time as I went private this time and he was fantastic helping his shoulders out and I avoided a bad tear, only a small 1st deg tear this time!!

So details are: 53cm long, 36.2cm HC, 9 lb 11 oz or 4.3kg

Loving our little boy, I am so in love with him!!!! He's breastfeeding well now after he had his tongue tie cut ( ) it was discovered upon leaving hospital that it 'might' be a tongue tie, a week later and still not very good attachment and painful (damaged) nipples I sought more help and more answers and was advised to see a Paediatric surgeon last week who immediately told me yes it's tongue tie and it was cut last week that day. Since then breastfeeding has been so much better!! The tongue tie had caused a crack in my nipple which led to mastitis and I am still recovering from it. Never had it before! I thought being 3rd baby that breastfeeding would be as easy as it was with my 2nd but nope, all babies are different! lol. Poor little guy couldn't attach well due to the tongue tie but now it's all sorted. I am a Breastfeeding Counsellor so I feel I have learnt so much more about Tongue Tie now that I can now use this knowledge to help other mum's when I am counselling.

All my life growing up, whenever someone asked me 'would you like kids?' I would tell them "yes I'd love 2 girls and a boy if I could choose!" and I am SO lucky I now have that…. !!!
