    Talking 14 February 2009 - Antheia's Valentines Baby Boy!!

    Feel free to post!
    Antheia's baby boy finally arrived this morning at 5:09am, born into water after 2 hour labour.
    Weighing in at 9lb2oz and 55 cm long!

    Welcome Orson Phoenix Paul!!!!

    ETA: more info
    Orson was born in caul. ( I had to ask what this was. It means he was still born in the bag of water). Midwife and doula missed it as it all happened so quick. He is feeding beautifully and Tegan is sore and in shock


    Orson was born totally unassisted. Midwives didn't arrive until 2 hours after he was born. She says she went from nothing to transition in less than an hour and he came out in 5 mins. She said she spent the rest of the time trying not to push!

    Congrats hun!! You couldn't have a more romantic birth if you tried At home in the bath on Valentines Day, early enough in the morning to still have a date tonight if you wanted to!!
