thank you to everyone for their kind words of support and congratulations, Joseph (aka Joey) weighed in at 7 pound 4 ounces, hc of 34 cm's and measuring 48 cm's. the labour was a bit stressful, bit of dejavu, as it started going the way it did with Phoebe's labour, my body didn't react to the gel, and it took 3 doses and a good 24 hours before anything even started happening (it was started at 8am wednesday). my waters were finally broken at 8.30am on the thursday morning and there was no holding back, 3 hours later, after gas and peth, little joey made his arrival, as much as I would have loved an epi it was much too late before i asked for it and I'm so glad I didn't have it, i must say even through all those labour pains, I've never felt anything as painless as when he arrived. he's a little toughie and makes me and df feel so proud, sad that we never get to see his sister do all these things but happy that we have him with us after everything we've been through.

thank you again for everyones well wishes and support.
