16th August 2007 - Alisando's princess is here

Hi all,

As the aunty it gives me great pleasure to announce the birth of my niece, Emma Josephine at about 4:40am on Thursday 16th August 2007. Weighing 7lb 6oz. 52.5cm long.

This is the second bub for my sister and her husband. Everyone is doing really well.

I was lucky enough to be present at the birth, it was an amazing experience.

Thankfully our parents got to meet their 2nd grandchild just hours before they are due to fly overseas...it was very well timed!

They decided to give her the middle name of Josephine because it was our Grandma's name. Grandma would have been 70 on Tuesday just gone (14/8) but sadly she passed away in March this year. So little Emma Josephine was so named to honour Grandma.

Thanks all 4 ur kind wishes, and i didn't scare Danni out of having a baby! Em is now doing great but it was rocky for a few weeks.
