18 July 07 ~ Melody arrives

Hi ya guys, just thought i would pop on whilst i have a chance to let you all know that i have given birth. Just breifly... on 17th july (tuesday) at 6.30 i started gettin contractions, i went down to the hospital and got told (very kindly) that i would not be leaving hospital without a newborn baby. And they were right. On 18th july (wednesday) at 2.21pm after 20 minutes of pushing and 1 week and 5 days early....... i finally gave birth (naturally - i had a c-section with my first and because there is 1 and 1/2 years between my c-section and gettin pregnant so close i got told i may need to have another c-section) to a girl weighing 6lb 9oz and we named her melody jean louise marie.

I would advise a natural birth over a c-section anyday.
