I'm not a massive fan of the afterpains. Feel like I'm dying :lol:
Kelly was there for at least an hour or two (probably longer, time flies in LabourLand), and Jan got there around the time I started feeling VERY pushy. So maybe half an hour or so.:
Amelia and my mum were with me almost the entire time - Amelia filled in PZ's role as doula and was pouring water over my back :heartbeat:

Woooaahhh, I just had a look at what time I was sending messages and making calls during labour - things really did happen a lot faster than I thought! Although I'd been contracting most of the day, it looks like actual *active* labour was only about an hour and a half, no more than a full two! :o
Elisabeth is the most laid back newbie I've ever met :heartbeat: The only time she's been properly upset so far has been when she's thrown up and gagged on it :( Whereas I'm being a big sook - I developed a cough Friday morning that's just getting worse and worse. Not fun when my entire body already hurts and I have a tiny tear in my perineum. I'm glad I didn't need stitches - I'd have popped them by now for sure!
