Pipsqueek has arrived at last! (20/08/09)

A week 'over cooked', our little Pipsqueek revealed herself to be a girl!
Her name is Orla - old Irish for 'golden queen' - befitting of our blonde Leo princess. Still waiting on the OK to use a family middle name....
She arrived at 2.05am on August 20th after about 12 hours of 'real' labour with a very long pushing stage but managed to get her out without drugs and dodged any VEs as well
3.24 kg, head circ 33cm, 48cm long
After a fabulous birth I had some issues with a retained placenta and haemorraging and had to go to theatre for removal under a general anaesthetic - recovering well now tho
