    Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for all your lovely wishes and thanks Gigi for doing the announcement.

I wrote the stats down wrong for DH (oops). She was 3.7kg or 8lb 2oz (not 8lb 11oz).

It was a very intense, whirlwind birth. My waters broke at 5:20am. I started having contractions at 5:30am, they started to get painful at 5:40am. We left at 5:50am, our arrival time at the hospital was 6:10am and she was out at 6:25am. I'm really, really glad we made it. If it had been half an hour or so later it would have been peak-hour traffic and I'm sure she would have been born in a bus stop.

Anyway, we're home, she's gorgeous and we're all in love with her. Feeding's going OK, looking forward to us both getting the hang of it and my boobs/milk settling down. And looking forward to getting that cute little butt into some awesome cloth nappies!

I'll go make a new ticker and load a pic or two.
