22.8.11: StrawberryFields welcomes her baby girls!

I'm proud to announce the birth of our twin daughters this morning at 11.16am and 11.17am via emergency cesarean.

Serena Brigid was born first weighing 1930g and Claire Jolanda followedweighing 2050g.

Both babies are doing magnificently according to the doctors, but are remaining in SCN just in case.

I was admitted last night after a sudden and drastic jump in blood pressure led to the discovery of severe pre-eclampsia. I feel pretty good apart from the pain, I'm just so overjoyed to have two healthy strong babies!

Thanks to everyone for your support during our pregnancy journey - here's to the big adventure ahead!
