Sarah is safely at home with............ Xavier Alexander TOB 3:18pm after a 13 hour labour weighing 7pd11oz/ 3480gms

Thanks for the congrats everyone, I hope to have my birth story up soon but for now here are the stats...

I am home, I discharged myself 4 hours after Xavier was born. I don't do well with hospitals.

Xavier Alexander
Born at 3:18pm - 13 hours and 18 minutes after the start of regular contractions
3480 grams or 7lb 7oz (nurse told me 7lb 11oz but was wrong)
48.9 cms long
1st Stage of labour was 12 hours and 15 minutes
2nd Stage was 1 hour and 3 minutes
Drug Free!!!!
2nd degree tear with some internal and external stitches, sore but otherwise great.

3480 grams is 7lb 10.75oz (so it is about 7lb 11oz)

Hmmm the calc I used said 7lb 7oz... wierd. But oh so cool, I weighed 7lb 11oz too!!!

how cool that you weighed the same!

Mayb coz its 7.7 pounds which is different than 7lbs 7oz.

yeah i got confused with that too my son was 3450g which was 7.6pounds but 7lb 10oz!
so 30g more 7lb 11oz sounds right
