born at 8:45pm on the 6th July
weighing a nice 5lb 9oz

Alicia's waters broke at 32 weeks and she has been in hospital since then. Bub was born at 33 weeks (due 26/08/09) and is apparently doing wonderfully which is great news

her first 48 hrs are over and the dr said she will improve from here on out . . .

. . . i always thought id be more anxiouse as a mum than a pregnant woman , but im so calm ... 3rd day blues tomorrow though

claudia is a tough chicken , she has a nickname in the icu ward already ... " flicky lips " ... cos she flicks out her gastro( thingy) tube with her lips and toung... ha

.... and mummy appears to be glowing more after the birth than before
