9th August - Pixie has popped....

On behalf of thepixie and myself I'm delighted to announce the arrival of Elizabeth Honor (Beth) to the world at 9:17pm yesterday evening, nearly 11 days later than scheduled - weighing 3.44kg.

Mum is doing exceptionally well, and is justifiably extremely proud of herself.

Beth has been having a ruder introduction to the outside world and is spending her first couple of days in the HDU, but has been doing extremely well and should make her escape very soon.

They are both gorgeous!

YAY - congratulations Pixie & Bear, and welcome to the world Beth!!

I hope that you both enjoy your babymoon, and that Beth makes her escape from HDU soon so that she can enjoy some lovely mum and dad cuddles! (I'm having a mental picture of a newborn in black combat gear dangling from an abseiling line accompanied by the Mission Impossible theme - go Beth!!)
