Smile Jessica Rowe and Peter Overton

Little baby girl Allegra Penelope Overton born last night weighing 3.5kg. Natural birth and short labour. Allegra means 'happy' in Italian and Penelope is a tribute to Jessicas mum.

Congrats to them on their long awaited and much anticipated little bundle of joy.

    Fiona Jill,

I was thinking the same myself , it's actually pronounced A-leg-ra.

It's an unusual name isn't it.

Firstly, congratulations to them - I've seen the portrait in the newspaper and they look so happy!

I had to giggle a little though! hehe In all of the online reports I'd heard they talked about how it was a 'long labour' and I was picturing her labouring in hospital for like 3 days. Turns out it was about 8hrs long. I wish mine had been that 'long'. hehe
