    Devon's baby boy - 24th January 2009

    I am delighted to announce the arrival of my gorgeous baby boy, born on the 24th of January 2009. 4134 grams (9lb 2oz), 54 cm long. Wonderful, drug-free labour.

    Has been a bit of a scary start, he had some breathing issues and a suspected infection, and spent his first week in the special care unit. He's doing really well now though, and is just beautiful.

    Thanks to all the girls who've been asking after me on my profile page - sorry it's taken me so long to post my announcement.

    Will do birth story soon - when have more than a second to spare!!!

    I'm sooo happy for you my love, It's been such a long wait for you to hold your babe in your arms and it's brought tears to my eyes to hear he's finally here. Congrats to you all.

    Sorry to hear your poor little guy had a rough start to life, but I am glad to hear he is home safe now.

    hey Devon, Congratulations hun, I am so pleased that he has arrived safely. He is the same weight and length that Jordan was when he was born. Wishing you all the best and can't wait for your birth story.

    Thanks so much everyone for your congratulations.

    I'd love to announce his name, but I've had stalking issues on BB, so I'd better keep it private

    We've been having some feeding probs, and he hasn't been gaining weight. But I'm expressing like mad after feeds, and he'd put on 50g this morning since yesterday (although he did a huge wee and poo all over the scales immediately after he was weighed).

    Other than that, he's just gorgeous...and waking up...
