So thrilled!!
Just got a message from Amanda
After a 12 hour labor and 3 hours of pushing and lots of manipulations the very prosterior
Palmer Ellen Frances
was born at 9.20am Friday May 29th.
Palmer weighs just over 8lbs, 53cm long, 35cm head of blonde curls!!
Bub is doing excellently, mum is recovering - has had some complications with undiagnosed pre-eclampsia and needed 2 litres of blood, but Amanda can give you all the details later - she will be in hossie for at least a few days.
CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA AND KIM!!
A HUGE welcome to the very stubborn Palmer!
So proud of you babe, really hope you and Kim enjoy some gorgeous newborn cuddles from your princess
Enjoy your babymoon sweets, you deserve it!! And I can't wait to see the pics.
Rest up and take care - let the nurses take care of you, hope you are up and feeling back to normal as soon as possible
There should be some goodies for you waiting when you get home too
Congratulations Amanada! I hope you are enjoying your time getting to know your new princess.. You have done a fabulous job, feel proud - of you and your baby.
Just have to say... Undiagnosed by WHOM? We all saw it coming with your BP all over the place like that. Did you remember to make sure they warmed up the blood first? Cold blood bad at any time! Hope you feel better soon, but keep your feet up and dont try and rush into things. It just makes you fall down.
Congratulations!!!!! What a gorgeous name you have chosen for your little girl. I hope you make a speedy recovery so you can enjoy the next phase of your lives together.
Yaaaaayyyy Amanda!! Congratulations guys, so glad to hear little Palmer has arrived safe and well. What a beautiful name, too!! Exotic, but not too 'out there', I reckon. Lol not that my approval matters, but you definitely have it, it's gorgeous - and I'm sure Palmer herself is, too!
Can't wait for you to make a speedy recovery and get back online to give us all the nasty details Many, many congratulations to you and Kim on this new chapter in your lives! Welcome Earthside, little Palmer - may you bring your mummy and daddy a lifetime of love, joy and laughter.
