Welcome to our gorgeous little girl Hayley Anne. Born at 7.47am (our little aeroplane! Lol) on Sunday 12/07/09 (at 41 weeks). After a 15 hour labour and 3 hours of pushing.... eventually got her out with the assistance of the vacuum. She is doing great and is so beautiful. 51cm long, 35cm head circumference and 7.67 pounds (3.48 kg) so she was a decent size! I have no idea how she fit inside me, I certainly wasn't expecting her to be that big, but she must take after her dad. Lol.
Having a bit of trouble establishing breast feeding, my milk is only just starting to come in now so hopefully she will be able to attach and suck properly now there is a 'reward' there for her. Since getting home from hossy yesterday evening we have just been giving her formula. Still feels so surreal, we are actually parents now!
