Little Riley Cameron is here!

Well, after 9 months of waiting our little boy Riley Cameron has arrived!!!

He was born on Friday, 8 September at 5:45 pm weighing 3.83 kgs (about 8.7 pounds?), measuring 53 cms and a head circumfrence of 34 cms. He's just sooooo adorable and is fairly good at feeding already.

The birth wasn't all that nice (haha!) but I'm already loosing those memories anyway. I went into labour around 8 am on Friday and with the help of some BB girls here and some emails to friends I lasted till 1 pm when my husband got home from work and took me straigh to hospital. We arrived around 2 pm to find I was fully dialated and after 3 hours of pushing he was finally here (after an episiotomy).

Thanks to everyone for answering my questions over the months! Now I hope to help out some others too...

Congrats Sherie!!! With a bit of positive distraction and staying home as long as you can, you can avoid all the hospital interruptions so your body can do it's thing quicker and with ease
