Thanks everyone. Williams not doing too well and in special care with a few breathing problems and a bit of a temp. We have been waiting all day for blood results and hope to hear something soon. I will post a birth story when I get home. It was amazing. I got fully dilated on my own and required a general and EC delivery due to his distress and not turning.

The mw called to say sorry it turned out that way as she thought it was just the monitor reading his hb wrong but my ob was not happy. It was all very quick in the end and I was suprised I mansnged to stay so calm through the hole thing.

Still now I just worry about the health of our little man

Fantastic news Loula - having your little boy in your arms is such a wonderful feeling! So, so happy for you!

I'm so sad and stressed now after watching our little man struggle to breath today he is now in NICU. No pead had looked at him all day and I finally got some results back at 8 this evening. I demanded to speak with the pead who told me he was too tired to discuss a baby that had been dumped on him!!!!!! I don't want to write my reply to that but he know this will be going further. I will explain more when I am home.

My little man is now very sick and no one provided him with the care he needed and now is suffering more. He has fluid on his lungs which now looks to be phonmier (?) and is very sick and in distress

oh Lou xoxoxo I wish I could do something. I've been so worried about you all today. Sending all my strength to darling William (your SON!) and to his mummy and daddy too.

Don't hesitate to yell if there is anything we can do.

And yes it sounds like some butts need some serious kicking up there......that is not good at all not to see a paed all day...wrong wrong wrong on all accounts that is......

You take care and try to rest up and recover from your c section.....William is going to need his mummy to be firing on all cylinders when he gets home...

ditto what Lulu said...if you need anything at all don't hesitate to yell out...we are here for you and I am only 20 minutes away if you need someone to debrief with.

Yep mum still here it was her that picked up william's breathing problems and lack of response. He has been in special care all day with not one pead looking at him. He was starting to get too tired to breath for himself so now in NICU on cpap and iv's cause he has been left exausaed and no energy to go on. I'm so scared here alone with only my tears

Stay close and talk to him honey, he has had a long path to be by your side....even crap mummy singing with no tune is everything he needs to hear.

Let him know Lulu needs to chubby his cheeks so hold on, I'll even let him grab handfuls of hair and pull it as hard as he wants.

I can't stop crying monash NICU is amazing unlike Jessie Mac special care where the mw just laughed at me when I asked a question about his breathing and they didn't take my expressed milk and gave him 30 ml+ of formula I haven't even held my baby for longer than an hour then he needed to be taken. Why now when we have fought do hard does our little man have to struggle

What tha? I want to punch that midwife.

Your little man is a fighter. He's going to be ok.
