It is with great pleasure that I can announce the safe arrival of Mummy2aiden's little princess

Ayva Samantha Lilly

at 3.05am today, 29th June
Weighing in at 3290g or 7lb 4oz
Length 51cm
Head 33cm

Huge congrats to the proud mumma and big brother Aiden!!!

Also huge congrats for achieving your VBAC hun - well done!

Birth was completely natural but she has sustained a nasty tear, which could have been because it must have been really fast - at 10pm last night she was still on BB talking about "a few tightenings" that weren't painful and she didn't think were contractions!!!

Those "tightenings" had turned into contractions by midnight, she called her doula and went off to hospital where Ayva was born so quickly that they didn't get a chance to administer antibiotics!

none are needed...
