Hi everyone,
This is a bit late I know but...
I would like to announce that I have given birth to a baby grrl, Saffron Pixie Avis. Saffron was 6lb 5oz, 49cm long and as of last week she is 10lb 10oz and 56.5cm. I had a cesarian at 37 weeks. My gestational diabetes has disappeared literally overnight. During the pregnancy I put on a total of 6 kgs and lost 9kgs which was a bonus.
She has black hair and was born with a condition called Branchial Cleft. This is a harmless condition, she has a tiny hole on the outside of both her ears in the same place (on that part that juts out between the top of your ear and the lobe). The pediatrician says it is a genetic throwback to when we evolved from fish, related to gills. Interestingly she is also a picies.
Welcome Saffron! Many Congratulations to you Susanne... So interesting about Saffron's condition! Im so happy its harmless. My little Ben is also a Pisces.
