Arya Sylvia Maree was born at 3:43pm on Thursday weighing 7 pound 2 ounces.
She arrived much quicker that I would have expected so was actually pleased in the end that I was induced. AROM was at 10:30am, but I was already at 3-4cm. Contractions kicked off straight away, with established labour starting around 12:50pm. At 1:30pm I was at 5cm and that's when things really started heating up. I ended up sucking on the gas for 2 contractions but it was making me feel sick so threw it away and managed to do it all myself. 6 pushes and 20 min later (according to DF) my baby girl was on my chest.
I am over the moon with how well my labour went and DF and I are completely in love with Arya. She's perfect

I love her name and would love to know how you are pronouncing it. When I read it I initially pronounced it like "Aria" in my head, but now I'm remembering that there is a character in Game of Thrones with the same name but hers is pronounced like "Are-ya".
