Our two stunning little girls arrived at 34w6d at 0730 Monday 14th June, via caesarian owing to the awkward positioning of the bottom twin across the cervix. Labour started spontaneously at about 0500. Both girls were 5lb 6oz and have been breathing unassisted, although Twin 2 did have some breathing assistance on Day 1. DW is getting better, but has had a very rocky road to recovery after massive blood loss and post-op complications.
DW is supplementing their feeds with expressed milk and loving every minute. They're both a bit early to be attaching for long periods, but hopefully we'll get there.
Absolutely cannot wait to bring everyone home, but it will be some time yet. After the long road to get here, I can barely believe this is true.
Names aren't a secret, but I don't want them popping up in Google, so PM me if you are interested and don't already know.

Congratulations Slyder on the arrival of your precious girls. Sounds like its been a big week! I hope your DW is recovering ok. And those are good size little princesses for almost 35wks so well done!
Enjoy all the cuddles and I hope you get to take all your girls home sooner rather than later.
Woo Hoo, a warm congratulations to the both of you on the safe arrival of your little girls
I wish you DW a smooth recovery from here on in and it is wonderful to hear they are BFing as well, it can take a while for little prem's to get the sucking reflex happening
You must be so proud!!
Take care and hopefully it won't be long and you will all be home together xxoo
