    Change of behaviour before labour?

I have been off work for 2 weeks now and for those 2 weeks I have been climbing the walls with boredom and jumping at any chance to go out and catch up with anyone . But today, I have been the complete opposite. Couldn't be bothered with doing anything (not even to get out of my pj's). Just lazing around on the lounge or surfing through BB. This is very unusual for me.

I'm just curious to hear any stories of women whose behaviour changed prior to going into labour (PS I have been getting period type cramping on an off all day, and walking has gotten very difficult/painful).

Yep! I was a nesting queen until a day or so before I went into labour with DS2. One night at about 9pm I had a massive panic attack about how I will cope with a second child (I'd been really calm and happy the entire pregnancy), I then went into labour at 4am LOL! Must have been those hormones on the move...

I hope it's just around the corner for you. Good luck!

ive had on/off cramps (for the majority of the past 2 sundays, not sure what it is with that day) and i'll have some cramps and back pain each day for awhile... i have spent many days in my pjs (and just get dressed if i need to bring the bins in or take the rubbish out, lol..) i have no motivation to go out and just do shopping, u know the normal kind of shopping you'd do, no plan, no goal but u might buy something after finding something, whatever it is.. i seem to shop like a male now, if i need it i go, i get it and leave! lol!
think it has something to do with lack of sleep, feeling tired easily..

Yeah, I went through something similar! We were overseas up until I was 32 weeks, and I demanded to go home. after that I barely left the house. On the day my waters broke, i was so unmotivated to go out and just veged on the couch...then POP!

I was amazed at how nesty I was!!

Sounds like you are close! Good luck and have fun!

I had a day of nesting type behaviour (not at all into housework normally) then I had a couple of days where I was really tired and the day before labour I was just over it.

The day labour started I had period type pains and a show from early morning, as the day progressed the pain got worse and I found it harder to walk.

Sounds like it could be starting for you,

I was meant to be meeting friends for dinner. It was something I had been looking forward to. Then when the time came to go all I wanted to do was sit at home and clean my bathroom drawers! I also packed my hospital bag.

At 1am that night my waters broke and contractions started not long after. sounds like things might be on the move for you. Good luck

oooh I hope you go soon!! lol how exciting!

I had MIL here from NZ for the last week while DF was away at work....and I was 8 days overdue, so by the end of it, I think I had worn out all my nestiness by the time I went into labour!! I spent the day before Charlotte was born basically in my room, couldnt stand the MIL's questions! I just got really quiet and really needed to be alone, and I just talked to Bump and enjoyed what turned out to be the last day and a half of pregnancy. Now I am so glad I did...I still miss being pregnant! lol

    Good luck!
