Question Repeat C-Section. Better or Worse???

I had a booked elective c-section due to my daughter being breech. she is now almost 2- in January... I am 37 weeks pregnant and this time round my baby has decided to be nice and go in a head down position! So I'm keen for the natural way! Although I have some other complications with my pelvis, etc.. So I have to be prepared to be in for a repeat c-section, And I would like to know if a cesar feels more or less painful the second time around?? Is the healing process quicker?? I'm so turned off by the idea of another cesar as I had a hard time with the first one! : ( But I have heard that it's easier second time round....??? Please share your stories with me ladies : )

I can't remember where I've read any of this, but if my memory is correct a repeat c/s has a higher rate of complications, especially of post-op infection. Sorry I'm not more help!

I can't really offer stats, but there is plenty of info out there, I can offer you my personal experience though.

2nd time round was much better for me I had an 'elective' c-section after an emergency c-section first time round, I knew what was going on and I did heal much quicker and felt less pain after I left hospital, but every body has different experiences.
