    Another BH question...

    Hi, I'm 40+2 today. (It's Tues)

On Friday morning I had regular BH start (have been having them for ages but not regular)- nothing too dramatic, just regular. They have stayed anywhere between 5 min intervals and 30 min intervals since FRIDAY. It's more painful now too - I'm not in labour. But I have to say, I'm feeling so worn down by these BH...particularly now that they are quite uncomfortable.

Last night we DTD and freakin heck, I don't know how worth it that was because the BH through the night really hurt after that. Must have stirred something up! Today I'm just back to regular discomfort.

Is this normal? Seriously?! How long is it going to go on for! (I know you can't answer this really). My head says it's different for everyone and be patient but I'm tired and sore and sick sick sick of it. I either want a break - or a baby!

    Any encouraging words?

Lol, ok... so, you kow I can't tell you when it will happen...
    but I will give you
I went to 41+3 with DD & had weeks of BH beforehand, lasting from anywhere from an hour to 8 hours...once I had them alllll night & then they went away about 3 hours after I got up When I eventually did go into labour it took literally hours & hours of contractions and the loss of my plug before I believed it was labour

I know that's probably not what you want to hear, but as you said - everyone is different, it could happen for you at any time.

One thing I can tell you (this is the encouraging part) is that while this feels like the longest part of your pregnancy, it really will go very quickly - once it's over! You'll look back & wonder where the time went.

Sending you lots of labour vibes

Thanks Jasp Think I just needed someone to understand (I have parents in my house tapping their feet atm)...

Interestingly I read that 40+3 is the absolute average for 2nd babies so here's hoping...tomorrow would be nice I think I will take a lot of convincing before I trust it is labour too.

    Hi Rahjah feeling impatient aye??

What a bugger that the parents visit puts a bit more pressure on you to get something going!

I think 40+3 sounds promising If not, in a few more days you'll either be in labour or you'll be a few days closer to it.

Sorry not much help just hugs!
