    Another third birth question?

I was just talking to my BFF about bub being born on its due date (11th feb) or even valentines day and I said I think I'll go early and she said do you know that or is it a hunch? Of course it's just a hunch but it got me thinking what is the likelihood it'll actually happen? DS1 came at 41+5wks (12 days over) and DS2 came at 38+5wks (9 days early) both spontaneous labours. Both pregnancies, labours and births were nearly identical (

So what's your experiences with 3rd bubs? Have all your bubs come early or late or did you have one of each like me?

My girls came 7 & 9 days after their EDD. DS caught me by suprise and arrived 45minutes before his EDD.

    #1 - 10 days late
    #2 - 9 days early
    #3 - 6 days early

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason! They come when they are ready and not a moment sooner

Interesting question, I'd like to know more answers as well!!

DD2 was 12 days over, DD3 was 11 days over. I'm sort of expecting this one to be 10 days over haha

(I don't count DS and DD1 because he was taken out at 39 weeks by elective c-section and DD1 was 42 weeks - again by c-section)

I guess it would be interesting to know if you are once a slow cooker, always a slow cooker!

I have had all spontaneous labours at:
    #1 12 days over
    #2 7 days over
    #3 5 days over

I thought that slow cooking was a genetic predisposition (my mother slow cooked all of us). If we go for #4 I'm hoping for my EDD!

With all of them, I've had inductions booked in for a future date and perhaps the thought of that scared them out!

DS 1 was born at 38 weeks
DS 2 was born at 41 weeks
DD was born at 40 weeks on her due date! All my babies seem to want to be born on a full week!

My bubs just never want to come out! I have a long cycle though - around 38 days usually. With the last bubs I tried acupuncture from around 36 weeks and although it was relaxing it didn't seem to affect his arrival time
