Before labour begun was your baby...

Leading up to labour starting, was your baby extreamly active, or very calm?

Totally still for days, with barely felt movements.

I was induced with DD1 so I don't think that counts. DD2 was very calm to the point where I started to worry about the lack of movement. I was told they naturally calm down to get a bit of energy for birth. Don't know if that's true, or just something they tell panicky mums!

    They both were quite calm.

Great thread Anila, I've been wondering the same thing! My bubs has slowed down lately, I was wondering if it was just because there's less space in there for her now. It seems like I just begin to get worried about her and she starts up again, though the movements do seem smaller than before. The only way to get her really going is to play Forever by Chris Brown

    Thanks for the replies

Baby today has been so extreamly active after being so quite for a while, even my braxtons disapeared, then today i wake with period type cramps and an active baby, that has literally been moving my tummy, she has been pushing on the skin so hard that my tummy has just been going left to right, and quite uncomfortably too!
The cramps had me thinking that maybe labour could be soon, but her being so active, got me asking this question.
