so it turns out that i may of had a blood show this morning! when i went to the toilet i had bright red blood in my undies, rung the hospital and they said it sounded like my show!
So my questions are - as like with all pregnancy's this one is different to last....
1. when it happened to u did it take long for labour to start?
2. the bleeding has long stopped and only in all had enough to fill a panty liner - is it normal for it to stop?
#2 I had a mucusy show lat in the arvo, and went into labour 2am the next morning.
#3 I had a show at 9pm at night, he was born the next night.. I didn't think I was in labour with him cause it didn't 'hurt' lol
DH was so happy when I had a show with #3, he'd just arrived at work and got to come home lol
Both were mucusy blood streaked. I didn't 'lose blood' so to speak.
AFAIK labour usually starts within 24hrs
I started having a show a few days before the birth, as in each night when I got up for a wee there was increasingly more blood until the day of the birth when there was more so I thought that it was probably going to happen that day... plus I was 10 DOD lol But if it's a fairly decent amount of blood than I'd say it's your show! I was getting up every few hours during that night seeing more and more and ended up having DS just before 5pm
Omg!!!
I didnt have one with DS until i was in labour but this time with DD i did. I had one on the tuesday morning - brown blood though, then little bits here and there through the day. Went into pre-labour wednesday morning, full labour wed night and dd was born 2am thurs morning. It wasnt quite 48 hours between my show and when she was born. Sorry i cant answer your bleeding q as mine only came out when i wiped and it wasnt really blood, it was bloody mucous.
Sending lots of labour vibes to you xxxxx
I was in labour when i had my show. My waters had broke and then i went to the hospital and i needed to pee and i was bleeding and it only filled one pad.
I had some very small bright red blood spots about a week ago and my midwife said if you get blood loss bigger than a 20 cent coin, without mucous then it may need following up. Otherwise the spots possibly indicate your cervix dilating, and stopping is normal.
With my son my show was like a big blob of jelly with blood streaks and it was followed up by more and more coming out within an hour after it happened. I went into prelabour pretty much straight away, early labour about 3 hours later and birthed 20 hours after the show. I think shows usually happen anywhere up to about 2 weeks before birth?
