Could this by a sign (might be tmi)

    that my waters have broken?

For the last day when going to the loo, I am pretty sure I have finished weeing, then as I go to get up, more just comes out.. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. My knickers and pj's were quite damp last night too..

I have been having contractions again. Last night was quite regular, but they have died down again..

I don't want to keep calling the hospital, or ob, and as I am not supposed to be having a VB, I don't want to leave it too late if I might be in labour in case I run into complications..

It could be your waters are trickling. I think you should call the hospital and describe what you just described here. It would be better to bug them for no reason than to have not called them and found out that you should have.

    PS: good luck!

I had the exact same thing happen with my only child DD, was having my 1st morn wee & thought i felt i finished weeing then when i stood up i was trickling without pushing.

Moment later my contractions started ... and 2 & a half hours later my DD was born at the hospital

DD and DH have just gone for a nap, so as soon as they wake up I will call. I'm not showing any other symptoms just now, so don't want to wake them if it isn't super urgent, LOL.

(DH has been so good the last few nights so I would prefer him to have an hrs rest, JIC I get to hospital and can't come home )

Mel - shouldn't you be working, even though it is your last day

I think you should have a rest too, if this is it then you're going to need all your energy later.

Yeah I know, but this is more rest than lying down as that just seems to bring on contractions.. I have MIL doing all the housework, and I am just veging out here..

Oh and thanks for the advice girls!

If laying down seems to make things worse, then perhaps just for a while sit in a comfy chair and close your eyes and snooze if you can.

Ooooh how exciting !!! Call the hospital, they won't mind and you probably won't speak to the same person twice if you have put off calling them for a while. Good luck hun xx

Ooh, good luck Heather! It could be your waters trickling and it is definitely worth calling the hospital for a chat about it. I have had a similar thing happen for weeks now after I've just finished on the toilet, but I blame my pelvic floor muscles LOL!

rang ob, and he fine for me to stay at home until I get more gush, or get strong labour pains..

SO fingers crossed baby either settles or contractions come to something tonight..

I really hope its your waters
But, just to put a downer on things...it could just be wee. Sorry But your bladder is quite squashed atm & moving around could be making the little but extra come out thats been blocked off by baby. Maybe

Am not bothered either way really. Am booked in for a c-sect on Monday, but if it is the real thing, I would just prefer to be at hospital being monitored vs being at home and something going wrong.. (especially since ob wanted to do c-sec at 38 weeks and I pushed for 39)..

But thanks for your input.. It is more the contractions that worry me, but the fluid was just something else I have never experienced..
