No, BUT I did some research into it after having my DD. I had a 2nd degree tear with Heaps of issues with discomfort up to 12 months post birth.
There are some people who rave about it, but also read some info about the down sides. The main one I remember was that it is 'unnatural' to stretch the perineum without all the lovely hormones during labour to the extent that the epi-no does. Massage will do the same thing and cost you nothing.
As ive already said, I decided against it, and received small second degree tear second time around and glad I did as it solved all my issues and felt wonderful since about 12 hours after birth.
