Hello all,
A family friend of mine (who I just realised could very well be on BB, and I wouldn't know it!) had her little baby girl on Monday night...and we're slowly finding out the details.
Apparently, everything that could go wrong, did, and this poor woman ended up in intensive care, and could be in hospital for weeks. The baby girl is healthy, thank goodness, and they have family who have flown in to help out the Dad (although I think bub is still is hossy at this stage too).
Anyway, I just hoped if you lovely ladies read this you might send some positive healing vibes up to Cairns...it's going to be a tough few weeks/months for her to get back on her feet, and to build the bond with her little bub (as some of you have been through before).
Thank you.
MODS - sorry if this is in the wrong area...please move if you think there is somewhere more appropriate. Thank you.

Seems she should never have been allowed to give birth naturally - in the end it took them 10 goes of trying to pull the little bub out (by that stage baby was so far down the birth canal it would have done more damage to pull her back up through a c-section).
She has a host of other complications, but is out of intensive care. Fingers crossed it starts looking up for them soon!
Thanks again. Means so much to know there's such a supportive community here!
