After watching a link Kelly had last week and a comment Ina May had about changing position then the baby will "slide out like a fish" i was having a bit of a giggle with HotI during one of our walks.

I laughed about the fact that it's obviously suggested that changing positions from being on your back can assist in moving the babies position to help with birthing but both of my girls were born with me flat on my back and seemingly "slipped out like fish"

Somehow we mentioned sucking in our bellies and bums and HotI remembered something she read that mentioned that NOT sucking in your little pot and j-lo bum can actually be good for you.
Sucking these things in can actually move your pelvic floor muscles and therefore make child birth a little more difficult.

So we were joking about how my big fat butt (in a nice way) and always there no matter how much weight i loose pot actually created my 'superior pelvis'
That night on FB i got this lovely little post:

Check out Spinning Babies on FB for evidence of your superior pelvis

Spinning Babies
"Many women tuck their pelvis because it flattens the belly or because they were instructed from a young age not to stick out their bottoms. Yet this movement actually decreases the function of the muscles in that area. A tucked pelvis can change the position of the pelvic floor muscles, making them inefficient..."
So while i understand i do not have a 'superior pelvis' i do think it's funny we could have a little joke and realise maybe it's a good thing i'm not so worried about my giant butt and pot

Hope everyone can have a laugh, we sure did... do you have a superior pelvis (my new excuse for my bum)??
