I dropped on Sunday and bub is half way engaged. And putting significant pressure on everything low. My DD1 engaged much earlier, but being a first baby, I guess that's to be expected.
I was so hoping to make it to 40 weeks for the baby's sake (birthday wise!), and I guess hearing your stories there is still a good chance we'll get there! But oh boy, I can't say my bladder is happy to hear it.
Anyone's guess what will happens for you, but with Ds I only noticeably dropped the day labour started. I might have begun to earlier but it was really noticeable on the day. Dd I was induced and I never noticed the drop, I'm guessing I was already on the drip when it happened.
I dropped this time last year! Baby was born about 50 hours later - but we did hurry her along a little. I don't think it would have been more than 3 days if we hadn't.
As you probably know people were telling me I had dropped for weeks but I actually couldn't see any difference until my waters broke the day before I had this one.
With dd1 I never dropped, dd2 not sure either but with ds I dropped at the shops and labour started a few hours later but that was at 34 weeks, stayed in labour until the cheeky thing arrived at 39+5 when my waters finally broke.
Wow so it really is a case of "how long is a piece of string" darn!!!
Bump has dropped significantly in the last 2-3 daysand her movements (while still 10 on the kick board) are getting few and further between,I know it will be soon coz we're 40 weeks next saturday and I am yet to make my due date. I was just hoping it would be more of a tell tale signthat things were progressing and not too far off ...... one can dream
This one - dropped a few days ago but other than knowing he's significantly lower due to the horrendous pain in my pelvis I don't think he's coming anytime soon, but of course you never no
Not long to go!!!!!! FWIW I dropped at around 36 weeks with DS and got to 42 without going into labour!! :| Sorry not much help am I - darn that string!!
