EPO when dilating?

This seems a silly thing to ask, but just wondering how long you should use EPO for? I had a s&s done today and was found to be 2.5cm dilated (hurrah!) but was wondering whether to keep using the EPO.....I assume it's safe to use as long as my waters haven't broken but just thought I'd check.
