    Question Full Moon and Labour

    Hi All,
I am due in 2 days (3rd bub). My first babe was 3 weeks early, 2nd 4 days early and this one...who knows, I've been having niggles for weeks . Bubs has dropped right down and it is a full moon tomorrow. I've done a bit of reading online and there is 'some' research that shows more women are likely to have their waters break during a full moon. Some hospitals will piut on more Mat staff during this time. I'm hoping this works for me as I'm already fed up with all the start stopping over the past 3 weeks. Has anybody else heard about the full moon phenomenom? My last bub came with a low pressure system - we had a big storm 2 days ago...nothing!
    Good Luck everyone!

Havent heard of the full moon thing, but I have heard about the storm thing.
My little girl was born in the morning, and there was a massive storm that night and the next night. Hope you dont have to wait much longer.

hahahah reminds me of something my teacher says...

'Births used to cluster around full moons and high tides.... now births cluster on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings'

If you were talking to a pagan they would say that that is true, but there would be of course no scientific evidence to back that up lol
If you go an the full moon, you should be very happy about that...it would be almost like a blessing on the baby.
