How did it take for you? Could this be the start of

I've been having period pains ever 15 - 20mins since about 10pm last night. Last about 4 -5 hours stops for an hour or so and starts again. They haven't been strong enough to worry me and I've had panadol and been using a heat pack. I can still talk/walk conerntrate etc.
Baby has still been moving well.. not as much today as normal though.
Could this be the begining of something???

It sounds as though your body is in preparation mode, rest up as much as you can, and conserve your energy it could be a while off yet. I think when the Panadol stops working that things will have stepped up a notch as such

    Thanks Shell.
I've had heaps of pressure down there for weeks now and regular BH but this feels different and is allot more regular than BH. The ones during the night were enough to keep me awake but not hugely hugely painful but enough to be annoying (if that makes any sense at all) and have been the same all day. I've been watching for my plug but as yet no bloody mucos or antyhign like that.
DH wants to go to a footy game to night so i'm thinking i'll let him go ON THE CONDITION the min I call he has to leave and come home( about 20mins away)

It sounds like things are firing up . Don't get too excited yet though, labour could still be a while off. I started getting tightenings on and off when pg with DD. They started on Friday afternoon, but labour didn't start until Sunday night. She was born at 2am on Monday, it was a quick labour!

With my boys, the tightenings like you have described were the beginnings of labour. DS1 was born 37 hours later, DS2 was born 16 hours later.

Good luck, I hope it's not far off for you

That's how my pre-labour with DD2 started. It started at 36 weeks, and for 4 weeks, every single day, I'd get a lot of tightenings throughout the day and night constantly, and an enormous amount of pressure down there. Once my waters broke and labour really got going, she was born really quickly.

Sounds like it could be pre-labour. I had those sorts of pains with DD in the morning. They went away for most of the day and about 6:30 that evening started up again and two hours later they were 5 min apart and she was born at 1:31am the next morning!

I had what you describe at 37 weeks too with DD2. I had her about a week and a half later. I think the key is that they get stronger, regular and closer together. It sounds like your body is preparing at least. You just never know......but it might not happen for a little bit yet. Hoping that it happens for you soon though
