With DD1, 4 hours after SROM (6hours labour total), and with DD2 8 minutes after SROM (I'd been in labour for 6 hours). Good luck and birthing blessings! I'm sure the action will start soon.

Had a c sect 4 hours after with dd1 she was a 34 week breech prem. With dd2 the ob broke my waters and thought it would be 8ish hours but it was only 40min with ds I was home and he broke my waters with a punch, we only just got to the hospital told them I needed to push as my mil picked up the girls. One midwife was trying to ask me questions to admit me but I couldn't talk! It ended up being an hour only because he had shoulder dystocia.

Hmmm...I think it was about 15 hours. Had SROM at home, labour started on it's own later that night and bub was born a couple of hours after that.

    DD- 7 1/2 hours
    DS 2 1/4 hours
Contractions within 5 minutes both times, none prior to ROM.

    Exciting!

Are you at home? Acupuncture could help. Or even just acupressure.

Three days and change. 78 hours.

I watched all 3 Pirates of the Carribean, went for a walk, went to the shops, went for another walk, went to the hospital three times, read some more of "up the duff", had an 8 hour long bath, and ended up with an assisted delivery.

CX were happening the whole time though.

In the movies, it's about 5 minutes.

I hope you're closer to that end

I've had ROM with two of my 6 boys, DS3 ruptured at midnight and had him a few minutes before 2am had contractions from midnight. DS6 ruptured around 6pm in the shower and had him at 10:19pm with only 45mins from first contraction to on my tummy.

I hope things happen soon for you.

dj - about four hours; but i laboured for over 24hrs before they broke.
Vic - erm... 3mins? they broke as he crowned.

Belly dance? that'll help bubs hit the cervix and maybe start something happening!
