    how many c- sections ???

    girls,
i was just wondering if any one may help with this question i do understand you are not drs but just by chance you may have an idea..so here goes...

my aunty vicki has had 4 c-sections last one was a ivf bub and she is very interested in trying again but she is not to sure how many times they will let her have a c-section.
she longs to have another baby, she has been to one dr and he said no more c-sections..do you think like me that she should be getting a second opinion.

would just be inteested in getting some other opinions please be as truthfull as you can and dont worry about hurting any feelings ok as my aunty vicki is 46
so i understand all the pros ans cons of it all.
to the point she has even asked me to carry a baby for her HELL NO THATS JUST NOT ME and she has even asked me for my eggs...WELL id be more than happy to do that but not for a while yet i need to get pg myself
please help me give her some info girls im a bit sick of asking me
    thank you in advance

Before I even had my second emergency one, I was told that after three they will decide how I've healed & let me know if I can have more. No idea how they check though.

My sister has had four and there is nothing that has been said about her having more - I think she has plans for one more child too.

There have been instances of women having 13!!

So I think it depends how they cut, how you heal in general, and your recovery after each one.

My sister has had 4 c-sections. I have a friend who has had 5th c-sections. The doctors told my sister no more after number 4 but my friend was told she could have 5, so I think it depends.

It ultimately depends on each individual women, how was her recovery, healing, did she have any severe bleeding after her c/secs.

My DH asked my OB who did DS#1`s c/sec how many c/sec`s can women have, his answer was as many as they are able to have, apparently he had attended a conference overseas (I think it was USA) and a woman there had 20 c/secs, yes 20

If I was her, I`d certainly be getting another opinion.
