less than 6 weeks to go, so I suppose I should get back into this ...
a very different packing list this time I suspect, as there won't be a labour ... so I won't need my fan, snacks, CDs, or any of that ... not that I used any of it really the first time around ...
I'm guessing I'll still need the same amount of comfy undies, surfboard sized pads, clothes and wraps for our bundle of joy, a book or two, something to write in, camera ...
Birth plan with copies. Especially important for a c/s, IMO
Post birth plan
Camera charger
You can have CDs playing for your c/s. i hear whalesong is popular with doctors otherwise whatever music will relax you, make you feel good or something you've shared with bub
Lollies, nut bars etc for late night snacks
Bottle of water
A pashmina shawl for covering up - (fluctuated hot and cold) and it's a little feeling of home, my own pillow, ear plugs and eye thingy(can't for the life of me remember what they are called - nearly wrote eye pads ) nice hand cream, and some snacks. xoxox
Socks - I found my feet got cold at night and when the fluid retention hit post c/s I couldn't wear slippers for a few days.
Laptop and if you have your own wireless connection so you can surf the net during those loooooonnnnngggg evenings
Pressie or something to occupy the older sibling when they come and visit
Lip Balm
Hair ties
Breast Pump - if you have your own
Favourite Pillow - I hated sleeping using the hospital pillow
Comfy stretchy leggings or pants and tops
Lots of moisturiser as those hospitals are very drying on your skin. I got a nice smelling one and just slathered it on after showering. I think the pp got most of it down for you
