    Question Mucous Plug

I lost some of my mucous plug last Thursday and again some this morning. I beleive that means I am beginning to dilate, but it could still be weeks yet until I go into labour. My question is ... each time I lose some of my plug, does that mean I am dilating a bit more each time, or not?

I was under the impression that it could grow back... but I haven't read that recently...

Yeah I thought that the bloody show meant you were dilating, whereas just the mucous can be replaced and you can lose that for weeks?

    I'm no expert though lol

But I am getting very excited for you Joey!!!!

I thought bloody show and mucous plug were the same thing??

I think, yes, it can grow back ... but if that is the case, what causes you to lose it again? That's where I got the 'more dilation' idea from.

    ???

Oh well, not that it matters anyway... just thought it would be fantastic if I was dilating already ... leaves less work for labour time! And considering I didn't lose it until my waters broke last time, I am feeling pretty good about that!!! YAY
