Multiples: Natural vs C/Sec

I guess ive really got to start thinking about this now with DD2 I had a c-sec all others were natural and drug free.
Now when we started TTC i always said i would go have a vbac but now with twins does anyone know what the risks are etc?
Im scared to try a vbac with twins i dont want the dissappointment all over again if i have to have a c-sec which is why my head keeps telling me to go for a c-sec so i can prep my mind for it.
I know i now have a long way to go but just wanting peoples opinion/experiences/knowledge about vbacs with multiples

I don't have any experience, but I know my OB wasn't supportive really of a VBAC with twins. And to be honest, the risks for me were too scary, so if I was pregnant with twins (which obviously I wasn't!) I was going to book in for an elective c-section.

You can VBAC twins. I obviously couldnt VB triplets for a variety of reasons (pre eclampsia, high blood pressure, only Sienna being in the right position to VB) but it does happen.

New guidelines in America have said that twin pregnancy should no longer be considered a barrier to VBAC. However what your OB is happy to support may differ from this, so don't be afraid to shop around until you find a pro vbac doctor if that is what you want.

My doctor is really pro-VBAC, it's me that's a bit unsure! I went in expecting it to be a automatic c-section. He's already booked me in to talk to the midwives at BBAC (Better Birth after Caesarean program) at our hospital. He said it will depend a lot on factors mentioned by Ryhb and baby position but it's definiately possible.

look like it maybe a c-sec for me on the scan report it says:

The caesarean scar is noted; minimal myometrial thickness was measured at 7.7mm at the site of the previous caesarean scar

which the dr roughly explained the scar tissue is very thin so carryin twins is already very risky so trying to go vbac will almost certainly rupture
