I would just say she was born in the ambulance at your house!![]()
ok, my daughter is 8 months old, this has never bothered me, but with the recent trips ect for the new bub, the question has been popping up about previouse pregnancey history... first 2 natural born in hospital, then we get to my girl, natural, but we didnt make it to the hospital, she wasnt exactly born at home either.
i almost had her at home on the couch, the ambulance arrived, the lady was preparing to help deliver her in the lounge, but the guy was freaking out, ended up getting his way. just as i was loaded into the ambo, she decided to make her grand entrance out the front of the neighbours. now there is confusion as she wasnt born at hospital, but wasnt exactly born at home! its never worried me untill now!!
HELP!
I would just say she was born in the ambulance at your house!![]()
On record it would just be listed as BBA - Born Before Arrival but for your own personal explanation i would tell her she was born at home in the ambulance, it's not really a big deal if it was in your drive way or out the front of the neighbours, you were 'at home' in a sense.
Atleast it sounds nicer than mine, DD1 was born at home on the bathroom floor, nearly on the toilet![]()
HAHA!! i was talked off the toilet onto the couch just befor the ambulance arrived! it was the only place i felt comfortable and the contractions were less intense there.
she was a big hit when we finaly got to delivery! every nurse on duty poped in to see the one who couldnt wait. i had only called them 3 hours befor when my waters broke, as the boys were both 17 and 18 hours long i told them i would wait untill the contractions started (thinking i had plenty of time) they started and the ambos just made it!
